Hi,
is anyone aware of a decent Salsa school in Zurich, where the teachers are willing and able to teach also in English? I've tried salsapassion.ch and was dissapointed. Anything else going on?
Thanks
Itamar

Sorry I have no ideas but if you find something would love to know about it as I am looking for the same. Of course the favour returned if I am successful.
Cheers

Hi
Karl is highly overestimating my skills ;-) ... I can't run classes, I just organize going outs for dancing; the glocals members who run classes I'm aware of are RodolfoM (see above) and Winita, then you can ask them directly for info.
What I can give you are some info about schools:
In general i don't know any school where they run classes in English; I had (and still have ...) the same language issue and I found out the following
- MIGROS Klubschule Dance Academy in Oerlikon: salsa classes are run by different teachers, my teacher is Eljadusa, she teaches in (high) german but is very helpful and speak perfect English if needed.
- salsarica.ch - Hardbrucke station: again, many different classes, with many different teachers; when I was there few years ago asking info the teacher I spoke to was not really happy about the idea of speaking English (she said she doesn't know the language well enough)
- salsapower.ch - small school next to Hauptbahnhof: classes in (swiss) german, but the teacher was speaking to me in italian on request (... I'm italian ...) and i know there is at least one teacher that's south african, if I remember well, then she should speak English
- gozandosalsa.ch: small school next to Albisriederplatz, classes in german, but they speak also English (... and Italian ;-) ...)
Hope this helps !

and another great way is to go on our very frequent outings ...
Hi
I got to Salsarica in Hardbrücke and really enjoy it. The classes are in swiss german but most of the teachers do speak English so I can always ask questions when needed.

If you would like salsa clases in english I could recommend you my teachers. I go for salsa classes in german but they do explain stuff in english if I dont understand something. I know that they give private lessons as well and then you would have it all = classes in english + quick progress.
If you would be interested I could ask them about prices and else.
