Expat Families

Hello from sunny Sydney!

We are planning to move to Zurich this year and have 2 BOYS 5 and 3 yrs old. Soschooling will start soon.

I would love to know where do expat families live and which local school do they use as we would like to have international atmosphere:-) plus its fun to meet other expats and share our stories!

We are not city people...prefer nature and would like a small house with small garden.

Thanks and looking forward to our Swiss lives !!

Hi,

we have just move to Zurich with children about the same age than yours. Fluntern is a good area. Close to the forest, 2km away from down town. Lots of expat families. Your oldest could go in the integration school (Hofacker school on Hofackerstrasse) . It`s free of charge and it is for all non german speakers. The local school we are experiencing is great. A house with a small garden may be difficult to find but there are some fantastic appartments near a forest/park.

Hope this is helpful

regards

Sandrine
