And do note that not everybody becomes more "social" from drinking booz... Although people do tend to become a lot easier in their actions which is not always a good thing though...

Note that it is not easy for everybody to just say "hi" to people in a bar even if they are intoxicated at which point they will likely really make a fool of themselves.

I think we don't want to bore everyone with our "aproaching in bar" theories ;)  but in general, i agree and it varies person to person, probably heavily influenced by what country they are from/grew up in, and are currently in.

I am quite convinced that nationality/origin etc do not have much to do with one's ability to speak easily to other people, or let alone introduce oneself, it really has to do with how one was brought up and what experiences you made in life and what person you yourself are. The whole introvert and extrovert thing comes to mind.

btw: "approaching" :)  (reading and writing too many scientific papers that get spellchecked by colleagues with big red pens makes one a spellingnazi oneself, becomes very OCD at one point ;) )

Yeah,.., i never hear jokes about sober Ireshment or Smart French,...,

But anyway,,,,all sillyness aside,....going to bars to meet women?  ...., low yield high cost strategy...,dating sites are better in this regard.
