So we are making it simple for both parties: EVERY ONE who is in the Speed dating venue IS LOOKING FOR A DATE :-) 

That's the only, but relevant difference with general social events.

I dissagree with the notion that men do not have balls these days... The whole issue boils down to the cultural orientation and direction of the western world. Yes, men have the got to go for their ladies of choice, but most of these ladies count their chickens when they don't even have eggs... ;) Perfect relationship is sort of hard to come by in the western world anymore... I have my experience. You have to be lucky to be one of those with good relationship.

The simple fact is that love affairs have turned to become mathematical expression... Most are simply looking into what they can get out of the relationship, not what they can give. And soon as they think otherwise, they get disrespected.

Yes again, most people will prefer to be in love and be loved, but the pain of separation/divorce is traumatic, This is why you have boyfriends/girlfriends and NOT husband/wife. Easy way out!

My opinion will surely be different from those of some, but this is my conviction. I think the singles meet-up is a good one. As you rightly put it, everyone there are looking to get "hooked" (used loosely, no prunes intended)

However, I wish all the participants good luck. I shall pass this one.

In my inbox I have 68 mails from people who would like to attend the speed dating. The main question that was asked and posed upon me was:

“I can’t see any registrations; I will only sign up if I can see who’s joining.”

I have 39 Seductive single women in the range from 27 to 41, sharp men ;-) in the range from 32-45.  And yet we are cancelling the event, as there was only one guy who was brave enough to register immediately and go for it. Thank you W.

So now we know that there is enough interest, we are assessing whether to give it another go. And this time we hope to see people enroll on time and with their profile. Because, just as YOU are curious to see who is joining, so is he/she!

So that leaves me to one question only:

Who is brave enough to be the first to register this time….???

Within four days we will communicate the new date and venue.

Of course, the FUN of speed dating is NOT KNOWING who will be there. As long as there is more or less the same number of boyz and girlz...

Maybe there is a way to RSVP without showing which users, and then you could disclose the venue and only those who registered would be allowed to take part.

If there's not much confidence level yet, you can start small with 5 or 10 pairs in any pub and if it goes well the word will spread fast, no worries :-)

As this all started out for a just for fun activity we are not willing to take the financial risk our selves. Therefor when our next workshop is in an appropriate venue for speed dating, our costs are covered and we will surtainly give it a go.

For now most of our workshops are in The Netherlands and London till April. 

Maybe is something Eshaan could pick up......as there is a market.
