Great food, great wine, great service! Had a wonderful meal on their terrasse with some of the best service I've had in Geneva...which, to me, is worth paying a little more for the excellent food. Nice to be able to sit outside in Carouge in summer without too much noise from the street. Great ambience and I wouldn't hesitate to go back!
Fabulous restaurant! After all the chef is well known for what he cooks. I had a beef dish with ratatouille and some poele (potato like fried stuff). The wine selection is marvellous. it is expensive but perfect, if you don't understand French it would be challenging to read the menu, if you don't speak fluent French or well enough, they might be a bit rude and unhelpful, but they might be kind enough to assign English speaking. Delicious food and the desserts are fabulous! Fantastic choice for any occasion. I enjoyed eating there and Carouge is a wonderful neighbourhood too.
"I have been to the Cafe des Negotiants with the parents of my boyfriend for a cosy special atmospheric dinner and have to say... we had a great evening, incl choosing our wine in their little cave. .. the little highlight.
Place was crowded as usual, service was rapid but discrete, and you felt welcomed. Cuisine is more traditional with a bit of creativity but of course you pay a slight premium for it. Prices: $$
Don't forget to make a reservation."

"Wondeful place for a special dinner. Great service, ambiance, and you get to choose your wine from the cellar downstairs, with a sommelier on hand to help if needed. Well worth a visit"
