Not the best fondue in town, but definitely good, good service (though not excellent), reasonable price, nice place.

Probably one of the best and most typical fondue place in Geneva.
The fondue is pretty good... and the wine very swiss ...
What more could you need to start yodeling!
Love it!

the fondue options are - basic fondue - no other options
the other food is ok, but nothing special, definitely overhyped - still decent food - but not worth the trek (not really city center)

"If you ask the manager/owner if someone speaks english he will get back to you with an ugly face and stupid phrases like: No, this is Switzerland!.

He should realize that most of his clients are from international organizations. Definetely: this is an overrated place."

"Maybe I don't know what fondu is suppose to taste like since I only recently moved here. But I went here because it's so close to where I live and so many people told me they are famous for their fondu. We actually sent it back. We really tried to like it but it tasted like pure alcohol bombs were exploding in our mouth everytime we took a bite.

We've ordered other stuff there and it was decent but nothing to write home about. Upstairs is smoke free so that's nice."

it USED to be the place to go for fondue. last time i went the flavour had gone and the grease was swimming on the surface of the cheese. very noisy and don't take credit card. i would have continued to go if something hadn't changed.

"I think this place is way overrated. The fondue is good (I am not an expert, but I had better in other places around Geneva) but how can you even enjoy it when you are in a place which is always packed like a can of smoked sardines ...."

"For those who used to go there, you know what I'm talking about. The place is a disapointment now. Fondue is average. Staff is average. Place is average. By their will to expand, they've lost their touch. Go the the Gruyerien for the best fondue in town !"

"Can't abide fondue but am still a regular for its jovial mix of local and multilateral. Quick social lunch, garrulous dinner, t?te-a-t?te over a drink in the eponymous sun, efficient dose of local colour for fleeting visitors. Not for wine fetishists nor serious foodists. Branch? (bilingual website) yet rustic (cash only). Articulates an idea of Geneva some still aspire to: Lieu de ralliement de toutes les tendances politiques il est aujourd'hui encore le point d'ancrage de toutes les id?es ouvertes sur le monde. After another cinque deci of functional Gamay, you might feel it's possible"

"My favorite place for fondue in Geneva. They also have great salads. The service is good and the staff is friendly. But it is always packed, so you must make reservations. I try to get in on the first floor since its non-smoking. I find it to have a charming, rustic feel inside, accented with wood tables and chairs."

"I don't think this is one of the best fondues in Gva....for me it's THE BEST I have tasted! This is from someone who didn't like fondue before going there! None of the crockery matches, it has a spit and sawdust feel, is always packed and I love it. Been with groups large and small and have never been disappointed except by not getting in when I hadn't reserved. They also have some interesting salads if fondue is not for you. There is a whole first floor which is non smoking. The place doesn't look much from the outside but you gotta discover its delights within...."

"One of the best fondues in town.

The place itself is a bit old and does not look anything special, but the food is good and local.

A bit smoky tho."

"If you want a really good fondue go to Cafe du Soleil, it is supposed to be the best fondue in Geneva. All the food I have tried here is really good, including the menu of the day for lunch...the staff are really friendly, the place is always packed which is a good sign, you can only pay cash, the place looks more rustic than modern, but dont be put off by that!"
