Wonderful fabric shop run by a charming and helpful young guy who is very knowledgeable about dressmaking, fabrics, patterns, etc. My lack of German language was a bit of an issue, but his English is good so we got by. Just by Wollishofen station, not far from the Youth Hostel. Open saturdays 10-16h- Not a huge shop, just such a good experience.
