It's true-Paralleles is a fantastic place! I had my hair done by the amazing Charles-Henri about a month ago, and am still completely in love with the result. I found Paralleles on glocals after reading all these great reviews, and am so happy that I did! The atmosphere, the products, and the service were all just excellent, and my experience was pleasurable from beginning to end. I had some serious length cut off (from waist length hair to just above the shoulders) so finding someone to trust with the cut was important to me. I cannot say enough good things about this place, and Charles-Henri in particular! I have been recommending this place to everyone I know-if you are looking for a great stylist you should DEFINITELY make an appointment!

If you care about your hair, my recommendation would be Charles Henri. I was lucky to come across him almost 4 years ago, and since then I followed him, up to Paralleles. Charles Henri is your dream hair dresser - knows whats best for your hair, both cut and color, plus he is an amazing person, so friendly and easy-going. And those of us, who sometimes spend 2-2.5 hours in hair salon, know how important is to have a hair dresser who is also a lot of fun. And as a bonus, Paralleles is a cosy space with a artistic touch, you would love the place!

I have been in Geneva for the last 5 years....same issues as always when you move to a new place:
find the right supermarket, find the right doctor, find the right mechanic, restaurant, place to go out and be social and the list can go on and on. On top of all FIND THE RIGHT HAIRDRESSER.
I had some appointments, did my homework and went to different salons but never walk out happy with the results. Several times I walked by Paralleles Hair Salon and for some reason I always had a good feeling from the outside that this might be the place...good atmosphere, good position, cool decor etc so I said why not. Went in, set up an appointment and the next day I was on the chair meeting my new hairdresser Charles Henry.
Great vibe, big smile, constructive conversation..he wanted to know a little bit about my hair, I wanted to know a little bit about his approach and everything went just perfect. Without to much of the history, he knew from the start the structure of my face, type of hair and he delivered an amazing cut and look that I was unable to find in Geneva in years.
You know what they say "a good doctor is the one that heals you well" same with the hairdresser "a good hairdresser is the one that makes your hair look good". For me it worked and is working perfectly ever since, not only that it looks good but it matches my face and my personality.
I am always happy of the results after a session with Charles Henry and if you want to experience the same don`t hesitate to make an appointment asap !!!!

I've been in Geneva for about 3 years now. And one of the luckiest breaks that I had was meeting Charles-Henri for my hair. CH is absolutely superb at his job - and I've always come out of a hairdressing session with him completely satisfied! In addition to making me look good, what I also particularly appreciate about CH is his approachability, friendliness and professionalism. Paralleles is a great salon and I'm a very happy customer.

I've been looking for a hairdresser in Geneva for ages and I had to change many times as I was never fully satisfied. A very good friend of mine has recommended Parallèle Hair Salon and told me to ask for Charles-Henri and I will not change anymore for sure! It is not only a pleasure to confide in Charles-Henri' sens of esthetics and amazing technical skills but it is also a real pleasure to spend a moment there with the staff in a cosy place. Everyone is friendly and fun, the owner is a gem and since he's back from his Australian tour I also trust Axel to cut my beard. I would definitely recommend this salon and specially Charles-Henri for anyone looking for a talented hairdresser and a warm and attitude-free salon.

I moved to Geneva about four years ago and it took me a while to find a good hair dresser (always a stressful task!).
I have very thick unruly hair that while straight can still get really frizzy and if not cut properly looks like a helmet.

I am so glad I found Charles-Henri. He is by far the best hair-dresser I have ever had! The first time I went to him he was so careful to get to understand my hair and also the look I wanted to achieve.

To me the true test of a good hair cut is how it looks and feels after you wash it at home. After Charles-Henri cuts my hair it's super manageable for weeks after the hair-cut, and even when I wash and style it at home it looks like I've come out of a salon.

Paralleles Salon also has the best colorists! I've had my hair colored and had high-lights put in by Paralleles staff and it has always looked fantastic!

Other staff is super talented as well, I don't think you can go wrong booking with any one of them!

The salon itself is beautiful and the products they use leave your hair smelling amazing for days.

We all know it's expensive to get your hair-cut in Geneva, but this place is 1000% worth it, and not even as pricey as most other places in town.

I have been going to Parallèles Hair Salon for a little over a year now, and the best compliment that you can give a hair dresser/salon, is when someone stops you to ask, "Where do you get your hair done?" Every time I go to Parallèles and see my stylist Charles Henri (who by the way, I have followed for years), I am either complimented or someone wants the details of the salon where I book. Charles Henri is very thorough and has a consult at the beginning of your appointment to discuss exactly what you are looking for in terms of cut and color, and his creations are always on point. The Italian (Davines) and Swedish products (Sachajuan)that the stylist use at Parallèles are some of the best in the industry and therefore your color last a lot longer than some of the other salons that I have visited in Geneva. The atmosphere, is great, not stuffy, trendy, cheerful and definitely somewhere you love to spend a couple of hours being pampered.
