I love Aveda products so when I arrived in Geneva 3 years ago I went there for a cut and colour. The colour was perfect but the cut that Sally gave me was awful! I wanted a trim and she nearly shaved my head. Then I tried the Italian guy next time around (Sally was away). He never spoke a word to me (and I speak Italian so that wasn't the problem)..he was just so wrapped up in himself. Needless to say I didn' t go back again.
I also am a fan of Magda's (the French / Italian speaker; the stars above are uniquely for her!!!) who used to work at Aveda - she cut my hair really well. Sadly, she has left Aveda salon as of late July and now I am desperately searching for her! Does any one know where she is now?
I hate that place! The ex-esthetician have move now to Charles Royston at Gare Routière, and she just amazing for massages, and all beauty cares, her name's Marta!
Magda are perfect too at Aveda, that's all!

Tried their massage - got a stiff neck AFTER having the massage - they were OVERbooked thus put me in a room with a massage bed without a 'hole' to put our head... so DON'T go there for massages!!!
"Sally is delightful, listens to what you want and does great colour, the other stylists (Italian and rude) I wouldn't bother going back to. If you can get the lovely Sally - go!, if you can't, go elsewhere."
I have been going to Aveda for a couple of years and love them. I would highly recommend either Magda (Italian/French speaker) or Sally (English speaker)
One of the few places I have found in Geneva where a stylist (Magda) knows how to cut curly hair. I am always very pleased with my hair cut and Magda is friendly and professional.
"Great products, nice staff but ignored my statement that I was growing my hair and needed it just tidied - chopped huge amounts of it off anyway - distracted service and the salon was empty. Wouldn't go back."
