Main suppliers
All 3 major mobile Swiss operators (Orange, Sunrise, Swisscom) offer Internet (via DSL) packages. The majority of DSL Internet offers require having a fixed phone line. In Switzerland, approximately two thirds of home broadband subscriptions are via DSL.
Cable providers also offer Internet broadband access, but this is far less popular in Switzerland.
How to get it?
You can order a web connection online, by phone or in most of the retail chains selling electronic equipment.
Internet on the move
What it is:
A USB-key modem that plugs into your laptop, allowing you to surf wherever you are.
