Some reflections of nature in November around lake Brienz
Sunday, November 23rd, 2014 @ 08:30
Briez Lake, Basel
I think the coming Sunday is begging us to go hiking (again) and what better place than a lake side 5 hours adventure near the picturesque Brienzersee?
We will start from Interlaken Ost and then will follow the Via Jacobi to Brienz. On the way there will be chances to glace at the lake and the surrounding mountains. If you've already been there, then I think you know why to return & if not, this is a great chance to get to know the area.
We will need to stop along the way to eat (possibly in a restaurant in Oberried, if open).
Just in case, please have some food with you & sth to drink for the hike, since during the 5 hours you may get hungry several times... You need to have warm clothes with you, in layers, as there will be only a few degrees.
This will easily become a full day trip in the mountains. There are several oportunities to shorten the hike, as need be.
