Looking for an organized cycling event in a beautiful setting? The Bodensee Radmaraton is for you! Cycling marathon for road bikes, it offers 3 distances to choose from: Gold 225km (experts), Silver 150km (amateurs), Bronze 80km ("anyone can do it" or "really very amateur"). It takes you around the Bodensee (also known as lake Constance) or a fragment of it in a loop fashion depending on which route you choose. There are 6 starting points to choose from depending on where it is easier for you to get to - to be honest they all look like you ideally need a car to get there.
The medium and long routes take you through Switzerland, Germany, and Austria, the shortest one through Germany and Swizerland only.
Start time of the marathon is 07h00 to 09h00.
Costs are relatively low: 30CHF for the short, 50CHF for the medium, 60CHF for the long.

Personally I might be signing up for the Bronze tour (80km, very amateur) just due to the time factors but who knows, maybe by then i will be a fit speedy gonzales and will be good for the Silver.
