Seems like this sunday it will be a rainy day! so let's do a long beautiful hike between fribourg and romont!

This long hike begins in the outer quarters of the city of Fribourg. You will be safely guided through the hustle and bustle on the streets, if you always follow the brown signposts of Jakobsweg (St. James Path). After a little over an hour you will reach the medieval bridge at Ste-Apolline, the first highlight of the tour. A step-by-step ascent leads up to the plateau of Ecuvillens. The landscape opens up to reveal fantastic views. The spectacular panoramic view of the Freiburg Alps captivates time and again. In Posat the path descends again to the wild, pristine valley of Glâne. On the other side of the river Glâne there is a long passage nearly devoid of shade, which takes you past the villages of Autigny and Chavannes. Then, after more than 7 hours of hiking, the city of Romont appears on a hill.

What to bring?

I suppose it will be a rainy day! so don't forget a rain jacket/pant, water, something to eat and most important thing "good hiking shoes"!

Bring your dogs(Only dogs) :)! if they like mud and long hikes, i will bring my two dogs on this hike!
