Les Chalets de Vormy, Haute Savoie, France, alt. 1893m – Medium difficulty.

Hike description:
From Romme (9.5km south of Cluses), we climb through meadows to the chalets with a view of the
Tête des Muets, the Pointe du Chateau, the Pointe d’Areu and the Chamonix valley.
De Romme (à9.5km au sud de Cluses), on monte par une piste pastorale aux chalets. Il y aura une
vue de le Tête des Muets, la pointe du Château, la pointe d’Areu et la vallée de Chamonix.

To bring:
Appropriate clothing, hiking boots, hat, picnic lunch, water, spare warm layers, waterproof
rain gear, sun screen, sun glasses, walking poles (if you use them), euros and passport.
Please do not wear trainers/running shoes.
Rendez-vous: 8.45 am for 9.00 am departure, Salle Communale car park, Route du Vallon,
Chêne-Bougeries
Maximum participants: 20
Transport: car pooling
Journey details: Approximately 55km – 60-70 minutes. Detailed instructions of the route will
be issued to drivers on the day of the hike.
Price: CHF 5 club tax (CHF 15 for non-members) plus CHF 17 to be paid directly to the
driver and tolls (in EURO) to be shared between passengers.
Please note that in the event of bad weather and rain, the hike will be cancelled. I will inform
everyone the day before.
