Hi all,

As we have discussed last time, I propose 2,5 hours trekking tour in Ferney-Voltaire again. This time we will start with visit of park and viewing the chateau de Voltaire from outside, then we will take a secret path that Voltaire used to get to Geneva and we will walk in the woods around airport area. On the way back, we will visit Ferney, a lovely French town.

As usual we will finish in the café for those you would like to join me for a drink (the Café du Soleil). Please make sure to have 5-10€ in order to pay individually your coffee/tea/beer consummation.

We will meet at avenue du Jura (Bus F or Y) at 1.30pm. Thus you will have to take the bus “F” from Nation or “Y” from airport (or any other stop) in the direction of Ferney Voltaire or Gex. The monthly ticket is OK but you shall buy a local ticket of 1.20€ (or 1.40chf) after the tunnel. If you do not have a monthly ticket check with driver the best ticket option for you. I would suggest buying a daily ticket of 5.60chf for holders of ½ tariff card.

We will be back to Geneva around 5.00 - 5.30pm

Comfortable walking shoes and bottle of water are indispensable.
No organization fees, the only expenses are the bus ticket + individual coffee/tea consummation.
