On Sunday, 7 October I organize an outing to the Pointe de Chombas.
This wild summit in the Aravis chain is located between Pointe des Verts and Mont Charvet. Long approach between rocks, lapiaz, slabs and cracks. It is rarely used. It offers an memorable panoramic view. We starts from the parking of Troncs (1277m), and pass along the refuge Gramusset. Return via the Combe de Chombas which is also wild….

Altitude gain: 1315m. Length: about 14 km. Oxygen quote 3-C **. For experienced and sporty hikers.

Equipment: Good shoes, drink, warm and waterproof clothes, sticks.
Formalities: The newcomers are asked to fill out the registration form

We meet at Gaillard, behind the customs of Moellesullaz, in front of the Librairie de France at 7 : 30. Inscription is obligatory.

There is a participation fee of 5 Euro for a daily license of the French hiking federation FFRP.
Passengers in the vehicle pay directly to the driver € 0.10 per km.
