well well diwali is here, The festival of lights in India that celebrates the defeat of darkness and evil and the victory of the good, righteousness. The festival is so much about sharing. We make savories share it with neighbours and friends, lighting lamps all over the house. A day to feel just happy and nothing else, letting go off dark moods and well light smiles :)
My sis is here visiting me for diwali. This time I thought I could do a dinner night after diwali, prolonging the spirit of diwali. My sis loved the idea of it and hoping we have nice warm gathering.
So for the menu.
we would start of with the savories sweet and salty, we have made for diwali with some chai- indian tea with spices and milk.
.
Then we will have
Roti . Indian bread,
dhal tadka - kentils sauteed with some spice and chilli.
chole masala - chick pea cooked with spices, onions and tomatoes.
rice puloa.
kheer - indian dessert based on milk.
Its vegeterian for this dinner. people are welcome to wear indian ethnic clothes if u have one. we can have some fun music , some lights.
so the price would be 35 chf to cover all the cost. and feel free to contact me for doubts. message me for the address and phone number for contact after rsvping. The place is close to stop augustin accesible by tram 12. Cancellation should be before 24 h fromt he event this time as quite generous portion of food goes to waste when people don't turn in. Well lets join in and meet some interesting people share our cultures and have a hearty night with the happy spirit of diwali.
for people interested in non veg, am hosting one on saturday.. with typcial dishes we make at home tamilnadu style.
cheers
