Class will be limited to 10 persons.

Cost: 40 CHF/pers for the rental of the boats

Program:
First part on the erg (20 min), and then on the boats for novices.
You will learn the rowing stroke, power application techniques, coordination with other rowers, and basic commands.

Swimming Proficiency

To participate in this rowing activity, you must be "water safe," able to swim 200 m and tread water for 10 minutes, and capable of calmly handling yourself in the water.

What equipment will you need?

The Club provides everything you need to go out and row. However, you will need to wear clothes that most people wear for jogging - that includes white socks and sneakers. It works best to wear rowing shorts, or bicycling shorts, which are tight fitting and no longer than mid-thigh. The current trend for shorts with hems below the knees gets in the way of the rowing seat which rolls on a track
