Geneva 1/2 and full Marathon running & volunteers

The PARTICIPANTS will dive into the heart of the roads and discover the token monuments of Geneva (the water-jet, the flower clock, the Mont-Blanc Bridge…). They will then run along the Rhône and will finally cross the finish line in the heart of the city.

Full Marathon:
Following the sucess of the new route introduced in 2013, the marathon will provide the runners with a unique route of 42,195 km including the most beautiful landmarks of the city as well as Geneva’s historical and cosmopolitan centre and its magnificent countryside surrounding it on the 3rd May 2015.
After a first part in the countryside in a stunning backdrop nestled in between the Jura’s crests and the Alpine summits, the PARTICIPANTS will dive into the heart of the roads and discover the token monuments of Geneva (the water-jet, the flower clock, …). They will then run along the Lake Geneva and will finally cross the finish line on the Pont du Mont-Blanc.
The race start will be from Chêne-Bourg and can be accessed directly on the Genevan public transports (Transports Publics Genevois). Parking will also be available near the start area. The Marathon will go through ten villages and cities of the Geneva district: Chêne-Bourg, Thonex, Choulex, Puplinge, Presinge, Jussy, Gy, Meinier, Collonges - Bellerive, Cologny to arrive in Geneva itself.
