Geneverando outing snowshoes Mont Tendre
Sunday, March 8th, 2015 @ 07:30
Place de Neuve, Geneva
Genèverando organises hiking and snowshoe outings of an easy to moderate level. Snowshoeing is in avalanche free zones; hiking is up to T3 (ie hardly ever necessary to use your hands. In addition we are responsable for the yellow footpath signposting in the canton of Geneva
Fiull details of the walk can be found on
http://www.geneverando.ch/prog/1500programme.html
as well as an explanation as to how to sign up
Despite what might be on the site I can accept people up until Friday. There is no technical difficulty. You have to bring your own snowshoes and poles in Geneva as this is an A to B
Cost is 32 francs for transport by coach plus a taxe of 3 francs for members or 10 francs for non members (you can only be a non member once). Membership is 35 francs per year
Questions email me on [email protected]
There are English speakers on the walk (in fact other languages as well) but the main language is French. We are around 10 people a the moment - I do not want more than 20
Also it is more suited to individuals rather than groups as a group of 5 or 6 people will tend to stick together and not integrate with the others
