This year I'm planning to go sailing in the French and Italian part of the Mediterranean and as it's likely to be a rather long trip, there will probably be possibilities for motivated crew to join for a few days to a week. The plan is to leave from Perpignan (near the Spanish border) and slowly sail along the French mediterranean coast, first towards Marseille and then along the French Riviera towards Cannes, Antibes, Nice and Menton on the Italian border. For this part I could still use some crew, from early July until approx 20th of July.
From there it will be on to Pisa, Elba, Corsica and Sardinia, but for that part of the trip I already have sufficient crew.
Any hard-core sailors interested in a passage from Sardinia to Perpignan mid August would also be welcome.

The sailing trip will involve:
- Sailing (of course!), weather permitting
- Dropping anchor and relaxing / swimming / eating /exploring the local scenery, restaurants and towns
- Overnight stays either at anchor or in a port/marina (sleeping on the boat)

What’s expected of crew members?:
- any sailing experience will of course be most welcome, but if you have a positive attitude, are willing to participate in the tasks on board a sailing yacht and can follow instructions that should be fine too.
- you need to be able to swim
- to participate in cooking, cleaning and other chores
- to share in the expenses (this is variable, but an indication may be 30€-50€ per person per day). Note that there is no charge for the use of the boat as I'm the owner - the expenses consist of mooring fees, fuel, gas, drinks/food on board, supplies, etc.
- to be clean and tidy and treat the boat as if it were your own
- to be pleasant and sociable :)

The boat is a sailing vessel of approximately 11 metres long. Available sleeping arrangements are a V-shaped front cabin (1 person, or 2 close friends), and 2 benches in the main cabin (+ rear cabin occupied by the captain). There's also a galley (kitchen) and very basic bathroom. I would have a maximum of 4 people on board (including the skipper).

The idea initially would be too meet up for a coffee or drink with any interested parties on Friday 29/5 evening which would provide an opportunity to meet eachother and discuss a little. Of course, your participation is entirely at your own risk and you should take out appropriate (travel?) insurance.
