Geneva Scuba Group dive no. 331
Sunday, October 25th, 2015 @ 08:30
Sanetschsee, Valais, Geneva
The next dive will be a high altitude dive at the Sanetschsee (canton Valais). The lake is has a surface elevation of 2000m, which requires a severe modification of no-staged decompression run times.
We will be diving with single 15l steel tanks. 32% nitrox is recommended to minimise your inert gas loading. The water temperature will be approximately 3 - 4 degrees celcius, so a dry suit combined with sufficient undersuit insulation is mandatory.
Maximum depth 25m, no staged decompression. We will dive conservatively, and a tank of compressed oxygen will staged in-water for emergency use.
Before signing up for this dive, please consider the maintenance record of your equipment, especially your regulators and your buoyancy control equipment. Divers should be physically and mentally fit, and not have blocked/partially blocked sinuses or problems with their ears.
Divers should have diving specific insurance (e.g. DAN or Aqua Med).
We will dive as one single group.
Remember that scuba diving carries significant risk, even when your equipment is properly maintained, when you are fit, and when you are certified.
We will leave Geneva at 0830
Please feel free to ask if you have any questions.
This dive has been posted at very late notice (sorry!). If you wish to dive then please give me a call either this evening or tomorrow before 0830 (0799458116).
Thank you,
Richard
