We do an outing, partly through impressive lapiaz, to the summit of Roc des Tours with views of the beautiful Chaine des Aravis, Mont Blanc, etc. Depending upon our enthusiasm, we might explore a lapiaz crevasse and/or do the nearby Aiguille Verte (2045). Because of the lapiaz, this outing is for experienced hikers only.

This is a Ski Club International de Genève outing.

• Are you fit enough to walk for 4 hours at normal speed? What is the most difficult outing you have done recently? Are you OK with a slightly exposed section?
• Are you a SCIG member? To bring: hiking boots, warm clothing, hat, picnic, collapsible ski poles, sunscreen, sunglasses and at least 1.5 litre of water.

Price: CHF 5 club tax (CHF 15 for non-members) Plus 15 CHF to the driver (0.15 CHF per km/passenger). Plus tolls (6€=6.50 CHF round trip) to be shared.
