Arthur's Rive Gauche, Geneva
Hello, friends!

This event is mainly for those who would like to have a stimulating discussion on the philosophical point of travel ? There are radical disagreements about this question.

For example, Lao Tzu proposed that a good traveller has no fixed plans and is not intent on arriving. On the other hand, Ralpho Waldo Emerson thought that it was better to stay home & that travel was unecessary for self-development.

Feel free to do some online research and choose your own philosophers / authors on travel... or just your own thinking / experience :-)

Things to consider during the discussion:
1) Context surrounding travel experiences + Context surrounding the reasons to travel.
2) Do we actually need to take long journeys to experience the benefits of travel?
3) Does travel actually deliver what it promises? If not, is there an alternate way to achieve what we want?

Goal: for each person to come up with a personal travel philosophy that can be used for critical thinking & exploration. Time / date will be set as per mutual consensus once enough people RSVP
