Le pic de Marcelly is located above Taninge. Note that the path on ridges may be tricky for people sensitive to vertigo, despite a cable to help you in the more exposed passages. But if you are close to normal, no specific athletic abilities is required. :-)

We meet at 9h30 am on the dot at the bus stop of Douane-Veyrier (bus n°8).
- We have places for 8 people (depending on how many cars we get).
- Do you have a car ? Then, you can take 2 or 3 peoples more.
- For now, there are 2 cars for sure.
> The starting point is about 50 km from Veyrier-douane. We share the cost of petrol (about 6 chf.- per person).

Hike duration one way : 2h45 for a slow walker (which I am)
Elevation : 560 meters.
Altitude : 1999 meters.

Get enough water, something to eat, hat, sun cream, good shoes, your camera and some sticks if you like to protect your knees.

We should be back at around 18H30 at Veyrier-Douane.
