This is a hike I've wanted to do for a while! It is a loop around the impressive Gastlosen ridge in Fribourg.

The total ascent is approx 800m, length is about 12km so not too extreme!

We will walk in the direction Chli Sattel -> Chalet Soldat -> Wolfs Ort -> Ober Gastlosen -> Grat -> Musersbergli -> Chli Sattel

I haven't done it before but I believe there are some scrambly sections :-)

We will need to drive. The plan is for the cars to rendezvous in Jaun and then go together to the parking at Chli Sattel (1430m)

If you have spaces in a car or need a lift, please post below. I can offer a ride for 3 people from Vevey station.

We will meet in Jaun at 10:00. This means leaving Lausanne at approx 8:45. Exact meeting place will be posted to participants.

You will need good boots and all the usual stuff for hiking.
