A general knowledge quiz. Start 7.15 finish around 10:30.

The Lausanne quiz night is a fun, low key "pub style" general knowledge quiz comprising up to 10 rounds covering subjects ranging from geography, pop music, super heroes, designer labels, current affairs, literature and many, many more.

The quiz is for teams of up to 5 people (max) with the emphasis on having a drink or two, meeting new people and having fun !

Don't worry if you are on your own or in a smaller group, we make sure everyone finds a team on the night and it is a great way to meet new people.

And now the rules ..... please read them ;)

IF YOU WANT TO TAKE PART YOU MUST SIGN UP !! THE VENUE HAS LIMITED SPACE AND I HAVE TO CONFIRM NUMBERS WITH THEM AND PRINT ENOUGH SHEETS FOR THE PEOPLE TAKING PART. To be clear .. If you don't sign up or if you don't agree any guests visiting from out of town with me in advance ... then you and your guests WILL NOT be able to take part .

The quiz is for teams of 3 to 5 people. 5 per team IS THE MAXIMUM. If you are in a smaller team we will expect you to include others if people arrive without a team so everyone who signs up can join in.

A small fee of 10.-- will be charged PER TEAM.

Space is limited so WE NEED TO KNOW THE NUMBERS.

YOU MUST SIGN UP IF YOU WANT TO PLAY, and if you sign up, then please turn up on the night and don't cancel at the last minute as you will be taking a place that someone else would like.

If you want to bring a guest who is visiting from out of town that's fine, but you need to contact me so I can keep an accurate count on the numbers as we have to run a strict limit on numbers at the venue. We will expect the vast majority of people to sign up via glocals and register as individuals for the event.

Please try and organise your own teams using the "talk" board below but ALL ARE WELCOME and we will make sure everyone has a team on the night ... even if you don't know anyone before you turn up :)

Note 1: We have access to this venue on the basis that ALL players will buy AT LEAST one drink during the evening. They also serve food (pizza / panini etc). Please note YOU CAN NOT BRING YOUR OWN FOOD OR DRINK.

Note 2: Please note time. Meet at 7:00 to 7:15 LATEST for a 7:30 start .. don't be late ;)

Note 3 : I am not a professional quiz master ... We are doing this for a bit of fun and we will do the best we can so please bear this in mind and come ready to have a fun evening.

Note 4 : We research answers as well as we are able but mistakes happen. We WILL NOT enter into any discussions regarding disputed answers on the night. If you disagree strongly with an answer, please feel free to write to me after the quiz. Please do not expect a response as writing and running the quiz takes enough time as it is !!!

Note 5 : Keep it honest ... no googling on the night ! (you know who you are !)
