Snowshoe hike to Mont Joly 2525m

We changed the date of our hike. We will go on Saturday instead of Sunday.
On Saturday November 12, we will take our snowshoes to climb one of the most beautiful summit of Beaufortain: Mont Joly (2525 m) just on front of Mont Blanc. It offers us a great view over Mont Blanc Massif, Mont Pourri, Aiguilles Rouges, Aravis, Fiz….
We start from parking of Communailles 1417 m (St Gervais) and through the Pavillon get at summit.
Down by Pavillon,Croix du Christ, Lay and via a road arrive on parking.
Equipments to bring: Snowshoe, good shoes, gaiters, gloves, hat, hot and cold and impermeable cloths, drinks….
Elevation gain: 1150 m. Distance about 14 km. 3C. Maximum 12 people experimented and sporty.

We meet at Gaillard, behind the customs of Moillesulaz, in front of the Librairie de France at 7:30. Inscription is obligatory.

and deliver it to the organizer on Sunday morning.
The hike is organised by the small hiking association Oxygene74

Passengers in the vehicle pay directly to the driver € 0.10 per km.
