Hiking to the Grand Piton, with restaurant

Croix-de-Rozon, customs, Geneva
From the customs of Croix-de-Rozon, we drive our cars to the "Croisette" at 7 km from the customs by carpooling (cost for passengers : 1.50 euros). The walk will take place on the Plateau, from the "Croisette" to the highest point of the Saleve : "the Grand Piton" dominated by the Tower Bastian. Back by the ridge line. We arrive at the Croisette, around 13:00. We shall eat a local speciality (the fondue) at the restaurant "Les Marches du Salève". Then ride back to the customs of Croix-de-Rozon, the starting point, by car.
TRANSPORT : The meeting takes place at the customs Croix-de-Rozon (Collonges-sous-Salève side France). From Gare Cornavin, take tram 15 direction: Armes. Go down from the tram at Bachet-de-Pesay. Go by foot to Route de la Chapelle (one minute). Go by foot along Route de la Chapelle. After 3 minutes, you will find at your right the 44 bus stop that you will take to Croix-de-Rozon-Douane. A walk with elevation gain of 200 m.
Three hike leaders, Pierre, Georges and Léa accompany you. 09:00 departure from the customs Collonges-sous-Salève.
Return time 15:00. Participation of 5 euros for our association (with insurance).
Waterproof clothing and good shoes are necessary.
The tour will be maintained by any weather. Bring a little snack and your good mood!

Depuis la douane de Croix-de-Rozon nous conduirons nos voitures jusqu'à "la Croisette" à 7 km de la douane. En covoiturage (coût pour passagers : 1.50 euros). La randonnée se déroulera sur le Plateau, au sommet du Mont Salève, jusqu'au point culminant "le Grand Piton" dominé par la Tour Bastian. Retour par la ligne de crête. De retour à la Croisette, vers 13h00, nous dégusterons une spécialité locale (la fondue) au restaurant "Les Marches du Salève". Puis nous reviendrons au point de départ en voiture.
Une promenade avec 200m de dénivelé.
Trois animateurs bénévoles : Pierre, Georges et Léa vous accompagneront. Départ 09h00 de la douane de Collonges-sous-Salève. Retour prévu à 15h00. Participation de 5 euros pour notre association (avec une assurance).
Vêtements imperméables et bonnes chaussures.
L'excursion sera maintenue par n'importe quel temps. Apportez un petit casse-croûte et votre bonne humeur !
