Bush Camping

I was wondering if there are any proper (rough) camping sites near a river or lake I can take this kids to, everything I’ve found seems to have roads, lights, electricity, running water and probably a butler. I’m looking for something with tree’s, a lake, and at most, a toilet for the kids but I don’t mind taking my own. Any suggestions? Does anyone know if it’s possible to legally just hike some place and setup camp? Looking forward to your feedback! J

Wild camping is not allowed in the valleys, inhabited areas and forests in Switzerland :) You can search for camping sites in Switzerland but at the end, you will end up with my people around, (No true nature experience)

You can look for places over the border in France or If you don't mind driving a little bit far from Geneva. You can go to the Canton of Grisons. The whole canton is a wild camping place and it is ultra beautiful and you and your kids can learn few words of Romansh too on the weekend :) and wild camping is tolerated but still don't forget to ask the local authorities especially if you are doing with kids.

I am sharing an amzing place as (In the mountains, above the tree line, wild camping is basically allowed)

The name of the lake is Gebidumsee and it is beautiful and worth visiting :)
