British/Irish Couple recently moved to Geneva

Hi Everyone! We moved here from the UK in March for my husband's work, but I am looking for a job myself too.


I'm very much trying to improve my French - taking lessons but would love to make friends that can help me too if possible.


Generally, we like being outdoors, interested in exploring/walks, arts and culture, eating out, games nights and also play a bit of tennis!


My husband is often busy with work now we are here so it would be great to meet people and feel more settled here myself as well.

Thanks John! Good question. I previously worked at Newcastle Uni in their Teaching Development dept - developing digital content and working with online and blended learning projects. Then the pandemic hit and everyone needed help with that so it was a busy two years!! I have been looking for elearning/education jobs (I have a PGCE in post compulsory education and training) but I would do anything really - and would gladly take any advice!
