The FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early) movement is a lifestyle movement whose goal is financial independence and retiring early. The model has its roots in the US and most of the material surrounding it is centered on the States. This Geneva group is a gathering of friendly like-minded people who want to explore how a FIRE lifestyle can be lived in the region.
For those less familiar with the idea, those seeking to attain FIRE intentionally maximize their savings rate by finding ways to increase income or decrease expenses.
