We will start our visit at the Musée d'art et d'histoire MAH, at 1.30 pm, we meet at the entry (inside if raining).

Visits & concert are free for us:MAH, MEG Musée d'ethnologie de Genève and the concert.I would appreciate if you tip me.
We will travel in time as far as 6000 years ago through a visit of the Egyptian collection. Due to limited time we will visit only this collection

I am a historian and will give you deep insight on the artifacts of the collection and the culture of ancient Egypt

Then we will walk to the MEG (people in wheel chair are also welcome, we can manage together ) .As we will walk through the old town towards Plainpalais, explainations will be given about the marvelous treasures of history ,we will be passing by.

Arriving at the MEG ,Museum of cultural anthropology p,
we will visit the permanent collection(Africa, Americas,Asia,Europe,Oceania), we will visit also the temporary exhibition about African ecstatic religions.
eventually we will watch a live music concert "Gawal" with Gnawa Music of North africa then Cuban santeria .

Bring a snack on way in case you get hungry/thirsty on the way between the 2 museums.

Bus no 7 , stop musée d art et d histoire, take the stairs and once up you ll be in front of the museum
