I have a sailing boat ( a first 21) in Geneva. Weather permitting, I sail during weekdays, in the afternoons or in the evenings.


I have 3-5 places open, so you can join and practice sailing or even learn to sail, or you can just come to enjoy the sun and the landscape, share a drink (fruit juices or even a bottle of wine). All in a very friendly athmosphere.

Starting time : 3:30 PM

I ask for a participation to the annual maintainance costs of the boat of chf 30.- per person for the afternoon (the outing is from 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm).


Registration :

- Please register ONLY if you COMIT to come.
(Otherwise, please Don'T Register, I have to repeat it due to the number of No Show or last minute cancellation,).

- When you register, please indicate your name, the number of people joining, the date and time you want to join (to avoid confusions as I organize several outings) and phone number (so that I can reach you in case of emergency like storms).

- For last minute bookings, contact me ONLY by sms or phone call (and not by whatshapp) as I'm not connected to internet during daytime. My phone number is + 33 6 58 42 11 48.


Equipment :

Good shoes, like baskets (to avoid slipping), sun hat, sun cream, good and warm clothes (against the wind and waterproof) are mandatory. Something to drink (mandatory) and a little bit of food are recommended....
....A nice Apero on board is not forbidden at all :-)
And don't forget your swimming suit....

If you don't know how to swimm (a FAQ), it's not a problem, I have life jackets on board.


Note that, as it is a sailing boat, the return time is not fixed as it may depend on the weather and on the wind.

Meeting point :

Geneva, Port des eaux vives. The pier's gate is facing the "maison Royale" , which is n° 46 quai Gustave Ador (look at pictures of the building on internet, its architecture is characteristic. The building next to the maison royale has a big advertising sign on top : "Jacob & Co").
The number of the wharf is 170.000 (written on the ground).


For those who don't come by public transportation (bus stop Merle-d'Aubigné), note that Geneva plage parking is much less expensive that the Mont Blanc Parking. (Count a 15 minutes walk from the parking to the boat).
