Where: Circle up in school parking on Avenue des Alpes in Ferney Voltaire. See location here
Hare(s): Amazing Spread and Lightning Rod
Getting there: by car: Option 1: Take the Route de Ferney from Geneva > Ferney Voltaire, passing through the airport runway tunnel. Turn right (2nd exit) at first roundabout, straight through next 2 roundabouts, direction Gex. At the traffic lights, turn right onto route de Versoix, then 1st exit at next roundabout. You will find the car park after 100m on your right. Option 2: Due to frequently long queues in the runway tunnel towards Ferney and also roadworks on the Ave. de Jura, it might be quicker to take the Route de Colovrex that goes round the back of the airport runway and then on the Route de Vireloup that goes past the buffalo farm, before turning left at the mini-roundabout near Collex Bossey. After that, come into France through the Vireloup border crossing, straight through the traffic lights and then turn left/3rd exit at the roundabout. You will find the car park after 100m on your right.

By public transport: Take the 'F' bus from Cornavin, get off at 'Avenue de Jura' stop in Ferney Voltaire. Walk 5 mins to the Circle. Get details/prices: here

A note from your Trailmeister: As you can see from the Receding Hareline table below, we urgently need Hares for most of November and much of December! - so please do your bit for the hash and set a trail - it's fun! N.B. Don't forget to sign up for the Ski Hash weekend, to take place in Avoriaz, from 17th > 19th January 2020. Make your own reservation direct with the hotel and then complete the Doodle sheet, so that we can keep track of numbers and who's coming. See earlier e-mails for relevant details or contact me.

Upcumming distractions:
Escalade Run: This will take place on the weekend 30th Nov/1st Dec. The Sunday training sessions are already underway and registrations are open until Monday 11th November. See here for details. It has been suggested that for any hashers wanting to participate, you should enter for one of two 'mixed' runs on Saturday afternoon. The one which starts at 16.15 does 2 tours, whereas that which starts at 17.00 does 3 tours of the Escalade course round the Old Town. I suspect that 2 laps would be quite enough for most people!
