Soil is absolutely magical! You put dead and decaying material into it and new life sprouts up!
Soil is like a mother to us all, because it provides our food, which we can’t live without.
But did you know that SOIL IS DYING?! Top scientists around the world are saying that we only have agricultural soil for another 60 years, unless we take urgent action.
This is what Save Soil is all about – trying to restore the quality of the soil, so that our children, and their children can eat.
The children’s workshops will help children to understand just how special Soil is. They’re engaging and interactive, with a mixture of science, art and fun!
And – they’re FREE!
I'm thinking of going to help. All are welcome - parents, children, and those who consider themselves children at heart ;)
