Sunday, August 19th, 2018 @ 07:00
Le Chable valais, Lausanne
Dear Hikers and Hikeresses,
I would like to invite you to a tough T2 hike this sunday from Le Chable to Fionnay.
We will start in a place called “Le Chable” reachable by train starting at 07:17 from lausanne on this Sunday and will reach it by 08:40AM
Train changes in Marigny and one way is 18.10chf with demi-tarif.
Than we will take a cable care at a cost of 20fr one way to Croix-des-Ruinettes.Tickets are buyable only at the cabin itself not from the app
so we need train tickets to Le Chable from Lausanne gare and back.
From there we will first ascend for 1-2 hours at elevation roghly of 300-350 meters.
Than we will hike on a “flat” surface before we reach col termin
From col termin we will descend to the lake(fLac Louvie)There is also a cabane next to it with the same name so we can get fresh water.
After that it i will be a steep descend all the way down to Fionnay.
The descend is a bit long probably towards 2 hours through foresty trail.
Last bus from Fionnay to le Chable is at 17:43(there is one before at 15:39 but unlikely to make it)
and we will reach Le Chable at 18:13
And from le Chable we take the train to lausanne.
It’s towards medium to hard hike with colder temperature than at sea level.
Comfortable shoes, water, high carb snacks and maybe a jacket would be good.
Any questions let me know.
