"Rafiki" - Popcorn Queer Cinema

Join us for a screening of the film "Rafiki"
"Rafiki" chronicles the story of two Kenyan girls who fall in love with each other and struggle to navigate this love with their families in a homophobic society.
Though it was banned from cinemas in Kenya, "Rafiki" was the first Kenyan feature film to screen at the Cannes festival.
The film will be in English & Swahili with French subtitles.

PopCorn Queer Cinema is a collaboration between three local LGBTIQ associations - VoGay, Lilith & PlanQueer - bringing you a new queer themed film once a month at the Oblò cinema in Lausanne.
