100 years ago the opera Suor Angelica by Puccini was first premiered in Europe. After Geneva and Fribourg...it's time for Lausanne.

Our guest Clothilde Medanac will sing the lead role in this short opera in 1 act opera along with a group of singers and a small ensemble.

The Atelier Opéra 2019 is a collaboration between the International Singing Academy with Rachel Bersier (vocal coach and staging), the Ad Hoc vocal ensemble with Philippe Savoy (choir director) and Ensemble Lycordia with Juan David Molano (musical director).

This project brings together singers, musicians and choristers in a touching staging with an instrumental arrangement of the work of Giacomo Puccini created for the occasion by Juan David Molano. Gabriel Fauré's choral works will introduce the concert.
