Sunday looks to be sunny so the lake area will be heaving.So,let's escape to the hills....Blonay,above Vevey,is a nice place for a gentle stroll on a sunny Sunday.There's the castle, the charming miniature railway with it's inventive little scenes from daily life,the village and it's surroundings and of course the wonderful views.
Nothing spectacular or sporty here.Just a lovely place to walk around.
We meet in Vevey and take the little train up to Blonay.The walk maybe takes about an hour so, if people wish, we can end the afternoon hanging out in Vevey by the lake, soaking up the sun and, who knows, maybe even having an ice cream ,if we're lucky.
