Raisinee festival Poliez-le-Grand
Saturday, October 15th, 2022 @ 19:30
Poliez-le-Grand, Lausanne
We are heading to the raisinee ‘coupe du monde’ tonight in Poliez-le-Grand(a little north of Lausanne).
Raisinee(or vin cuit) is a thick syrup traditionally made from boiling down apple and pear juice in gigantic cauldrons over a wood fire for about 24 hours.
The event has about 30 or so teams cooking all night and you will find quite a few food and drink stands around. There is also a cover band playing in an indoor tent tonight.
All in all, Very traditionnal Swiss village festival athmosphere…
We are planning to head over at around 1930.
(We have place in the car to take some people from echallens LEB line, leaving Flon 18.55,
PM me so we can exchange coordinates to meet up!
