Hiking to the Château d’Oche (2197m)

Motorized or people can rent a car are welcome.
Meet at 7:45 am on the carpark "Portes de France" after the customs of Moellesullaz.
Hike to the "Châeau d'Oche", above 55 km to Geneva.
A pretty hike in the middle of the alpine meadows to reach a summit often abandoned. There are many ibexes.
By car to Vacheresse and the chalets of Bise. Then leave to the north by the GR5 and the valley of Salle. Climb a pass and then descend on Darbon Lake. Go up to the "Gates of Oche" or by a chimney and climb the "Castle of Oche" (cross at the top).
The route is in a loop and can be traveled in the opposite direction.
A gradient of 1000 m and a distance of 12 km. Walking time: about 5 hours.

You will need: suitable shoes, poles and gaiters, warm clothes, sun cream and sunglasses, your passport and some Euros, drinks and picnic.
Price 5 Euros including insurance. Transport: passenger pays 11 Euros to the driver.
