Thursday of the Ascension, a hike in the mountains.
From St Jeoire. climb through the Jourdy cave. Cross the station of Sommant. Climb along the ridge by a wide path. At the top, a distant view of the valleys of Giffre and Arve, Mont Blanc.
Return by Sommand and St Gras chapel.
A gradient of 1075 m and a distance of 12 km. Walking time: about 5 hours.
