The idea of the French/English Language Exchange is for French and English speakers to help each other in learning and practicing the language of the other.

TIPS :

1) Switch language every 10-20 minutes
2) Be fair in sharing your time of speaking, in particular, if you're pretty good (or you're getting tipsy…).
3) Tell your partner what you need, ask her/him to help you, and reversely, ask her/him how you can help her/him.
4) Alternate a demanding practice with some cool/fun conversation.
5) Find the best way to correct each other (language only, please :), write down the mistakes you notice while your partner is talking, and tell them to her/him afterward. Ask for being corrected.

CONSEILS :

1) Changer de langue toutes les 10-20 minutes
2) Soyez juste en partageant votre temps de parole, en particulier si vous êtes plutôt bon (ou si vous devenez un peu pompette…).
3) Dites à votre partenaire ce dont vous avez besoin, demandez-lui de vous aider et, inversement, demandez-lui comment vous pouvez l'aider.
4) Alternez une pratique exigeante avec une conversation amusante.
5) Trouvez la meilleure façon de vous corriger mutuellement (langage seulement, svp), notez les erreurs que vous remarquez pendant que votre partenaire parle, et dites-les-lui par la suite. Demander à être corrigé.
