Snowshoeing to Col de Savolaire

This Sunday, there will be a hike to the Col de Savolaire (1930m). Carpooling € 12. Meet at 7:45 am on the carpark "Portes de France" after the customs of Moellesullaz.
At the end of autumn, 20 to 30 cm of snow fell on the meadows of the Aulp valley. We offer a snowshoe excursion from Essert-la Pierre, 60 km from Geneva.
We are walking on good tracks. The slope is gradual although sustained. 900 m of altitude difference.
It is better to rent equipment in advance. The association has 4 pairs for rent.
The Savolaire pass is located in the foothills of the Roc de Tavaneuse. We will climb the thalweg to join the "Passage Savolaire".
A different route for the return. A distance of 12 km.
A gradient of 900 m. Schedule for a progression to 350m / hour: 4h30

You will need: suitable shoes, warm clothes, sun cream and sunglasses, your passport and some Euros, drinks and picnic.
