On Saturday, November 30 I organize a snowshoe hike to the Pointe de Mandallaz 2277m. This is the first summit of Trois Aiguille (an other name for these 3 tops) located in southern Aravis. This hike offers, on all its trail the beautiful landscapes and wide views.
We start from Sous l’Aiguille (Thônes, Manigod). Arrive at the Aulp de Fier d’En Bas and cross on the nord of Champ Tardif, we arrive at the summit ridges. Up from there to the top.
Down by same way.
Elevation gain about 1150m. length about 14 km. for experimented and sporty hikers. Some slopes are steep.
Appointment: 7:30 at Veyrier Douane, final stop of bus n° 8. Inscription is obligatory.
