Geneva Scuba Group dive no. 685
Sunday, August 2nd, 2020 @ 10:00
Rivaz Plage, Lac Leman., Geneva
This is a TDI class at Herrmance Plage. If you are not a part of the class and are certified to dive to 45m with staged decompression, then you are welcome to join the team. If you are part of the class then you MUST have a LONG HOSE for gas donation, regardless of whether or not you on OC or CCR. Otherwise, you are also welcome to join and form your own buddy team.
All locations along the Swiss side of Lac Leman have officially opened for diving (e.g. Hermance Plage), as long as we maintain social distancing measures. So, let's dust off the equipment and resume our diving activities.
If any divers are "recovered" sars-cov-2 carriers then seek advice from your doctor about scuba diving before joining. There have been some concerning stories of individuals who were infected, yet asymptomatic until they dived.
Maximum depth will be 45m
Surface temperatures about 19°C , but the water temperature drops rapidly with depth. 6°C at 40m, 10°C at 30m. Bring appropriate exposure protection (dry suit), hood, gloves.
A primary lamp is required. A backup lamp is highly recommended.
Arrive at Rivaz Plage at 1000.
If you have any questions then feel free to post them below.
Cheers,
Richard
