On Sunday October 24 ( or Saturday 23, depending the weather) I will organize a hike to Dents de Lanfon 1824 m, nearby Annecy (Thônes, Alex, Villard-Dessus 710 m). This mid-altitude summit overlooks the lake and the city of Annecy. It offers a breathless panorama… . see the pics.
From parking Villard-Dessus we go up by a drivable road to Chalet d’Aulp Riant Dessous. Then a steep trail bring us to a ridge and via some rocky passage arrive at the summit.

Elevation gain 1150 m. length 12,5 km. maximum 12 experimented and sporty hiker. This hike requires great watchfulness and be a good hiker. There is a small risk of falling small stones. So we need to bring a helmet to protect the head. A bicycle helmet is sufficient. This hike must be done in absolutely dry, fog-free and sunny weather. The trail must also be dry.

Appointment: 7:30 Rond Point de Bernex, tram 14, stop Bernex P+R ( Route de Chancy, Highway exit). Inscription is obligatory.
Equipment: Good mountain shoes, drink, warm and waterproof clothes, stick, drink, picnic…. All must be prepared the day before.

There is a participation fee of 5 Euro for a license of the French hiking federation FFRP, including insurance. Gas-sharing charges for those not driving of 0.10 euro-centimes per kilometer.
