Walk Anières Hermance

The weather forecast for Saturday has improved so let us go for a walk. We will meet at 12 h at bus stop Rive (near Starbucks) and at 12h14 take bus E direction Hermance. We will get off at stop Anières Village at 12h34.
The first part of the walk takes us along the shady Hermance river. When we reach Hermance we will take a trail leading into France (take your passport or ID card with you). We will walk through forests and fields, passing by the Memorial des Justes. We will return to Switzerland, the last part of the walk is through wine yards with a view over the lake. We take a bus from Hermance back into town.
Do take food and drinks for the picnic, plus something to sit upon.
The walk is about 11 km. We will take it easy and walk for about 2 1/2 to 3hours. Expect to be back in town around 17h00-17h30.
Do register only if you are sure to attend.
