Ski school?

Hi there!

Could someone inform me about a decent (well price-quality) ski school in the surroundings of Geneva? I have no experience at all, and as I got to know from a lot of people...I NEED TOCool! The good thing is...I am willing to!

Last but not least, It would be great if this location is accessible by public transportation.

Many thanks,

Rob

Hi,

The easiest is probably to check either the French ski school (they have schools in most ski resorts):

http://www.esf.net/en/index.html

Or the Swiss ski school (Ecole suisse de ski). For an example of a ski resort which is easy to access by train, you may check the ski school in Villars:

Have fun,

Per

chamonix has a good ski school and they do transfers from the airport for a reasonable price.  les gets is a mellow resort if you're a beginner and again the ski instructors are pretty good, only an hour away by car.....

I have heard that the Ski Club International de Geneve is very good for beginners (this from a Swiss person who started two years ago). www.scig.ch. And a note for Per P - before you or anyone makes a comment on my skiing capabilities, I did not go with them.

The other point I hear is that it is well organised, discounts for ski passes both English and French spoken
